I was looking for information on another article when I stumbled upon this:

Here’s a somewhat “stale” story, but I thinks it’s worth visiting.  It was originally covered by World net Daily here.

Members of the graduating class of 2009 at Florida’s Pace High School have expressed their objections to ACLU restrictions on statements of religious faith at their school by rising up en masse at their ceremony and reciting the Lord’s Prayer.

The incident happened just days ago, but has been virtually ignored by media outlets throughout the region, according to officials with Liberty Counsel, a legal team representing Principal Frank Lay and teacher Michelle Winkler in their battle with the ACLU, which had complained that faculty and teachers were talking about their beliefs.

Resistance!  This is what we have needed!  People, in their everyday lives, are starting to openly resist the libtards!  It is also encouraging that it was kids doing the resistance.  Perhaps, at least in this case, the propaganda in the pubrik sckrools is not as strong as we think, and fear.

That the Legion of Doom ignored it is not a surprise.  They, being the biggest supporters of the messiah, would not want a “counter-revolutionary” attitude spreading among the sheeple, so stories like this get spiked fast.

Nearly 400 graduating seniors at Pace, a Santa Rosa County school, stood up at their graduation, according to Mathew Staver, president of Liberty Counsel.

Parents, family and friends joined in the recitation, and applauded the students when they were finished, Staver told WND.

“Many of the students also painted crosses on their graduation caps to make a statement of faith,” the organization reported.

Again, I applaud these kids and parents for taking steps to fight against the ACLU for attempting to ban their Constitutional rights!

As preparations were being made for the 2009 graduation, the ACLU demanded the school censor students from offering prayers or saying anything religious. As a result, two student leaders traditionally allowed by the school to address their graduation were banned from doing so.

Staver said class members, furious with the ACLU for hijacking their free speech rights, assembled the plan on their own. As soon as Lay asked everyone to be seated for the ceremony, the graduating seniors remained standing and recited the Lord’s Prayer.

What you going to do now ACLU; sue 400 kids for praying?  Sue all the parents and families for applauding?  We’re on to you.  We know what you stand for.  People are starting to fight back.  What if this starts to happen all over?  We know the Legion of Doom won’t cover it, but myself, others like me will, and it’s getting to the point that we have greater reach than the Legion, so do your worst!

Personally, I am impressed that 400 seniors at a public high school would so openly defy the authorities for their First Amendment rights.   Some rebellious teacher may have taught them what the Constitution actually means!  We always hear so much about how the kids are permanently brainwashed in the government schools.  This event shows that the kids can still see when their rights are being trampled.  Hopefully, they also start to see how the libtard agenda is harming them in other areas as well.

It’s predictable, but still funny.  When the Conservatives have some sort of event, the Legion of Doom either ignores it entirely, or shows up to ridicule it.  The Tea Parties being most recent example.  The cause is just as easily understandable.  The Legion in the back pocket of the messiah SPENDULUS MAXIMUS and his minions, and any “competing ideology” must be silenced or ridiculed.  Those darn socialists and their control of information and all!

The latest example occurred back on June 9th, when the  New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms sponsored multiple rallies to draw attention to traditional family values and to protest pending gay marriage legislation in NY.  Newsbusters covered it here, but I thought the story deserved the conservative Hideout treatment.

First up, the Village Voice, who actually did a pretty good job, and presented both sides of the issue.

When State Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz ascended the stage at an anti-gay marriage rally Sunday in front of Governor David A. Paterson’s midtown office, he tried to put the fear of the God-fearing flock that stretched for several city blocks into him and his fellow politicians.

They pray and they vote.

The Bronx Democrat’s threats resounded on Third Avenue between 40th and 35th streets, where an estimated 20,000 of the Tri-state area’s devout decried the move to legalize marriage for all of New York’s citizens at a rally sponsored by Radio Vision Cristiana International and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization.

The state senator hoped that the crowd’s numbers provided testimony to his strength to several colleagues sitting on the fence, now that their body will likely vote on the bill, which Governor Paterson proposed in April. The Assembly last week approved the legislation - after four hours of emotional debate - which led to the 89-52 vote.

20,000 people?  That many people had a peaceful protest and the media ignored it?  I would guarantee that if it was a pro-gay marriage protest, the media would be all over it!

Diaz (above) shamed the Hispanic assembly members who voted in favor of the bill. He bellowed their names and the crowd perfunctorily responded with boos.

“They smacked us and don’t respect us,” Diaz yelled of those who supported or plan to support the bill.

“Tengo cuidado,” he later warned.

WHOA THAR!  Did that guy speak in SPANISH???  I thought Conservatives were RACISTS!!!  Don’t Conservatives HATE Hispanic people??

Rabbi Yehuda Levin, Union of Orthodox Rabbis and the Rabbinical Alliance of America, joined the Hispanic clergy members in their threats to primary politicians who vote to alter the definition of marriage.

“I want to say to Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver: You’re an embarrassment as a Jew,” he yelled, following up with a vision of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg presiding over a gay marriage at Silver’s synagogue.

WHAAAAAT???  Jewish people??  I thought the Conservatives HATE Jewish people?  OH WAIT, it’s the LIBS that are antisemitic!!  I always get that confused!

The soldier stood at the edge of the gate and extended his hand to those en route to the anti-gay marriage rally. “Some of us are Christians too and we’re capable of love and we could love them back,” he said.

RANDOM COLLEGE LEFTY: Did you hear that?  That’s hate speech!  That’s really conservative code for killing gay people!  They’re going to kill them all, and make it look like it was an accident!  Those conservatives, they just want to kill everyone! The anti-gay marriage rally lingered for hours and worshippers listened as speakers reiterated over and over that marriage should strictly apply to men and women. And while these are words heard in churches - organizers estimated over 3,000 congregations arrived - Leslie Diaz, the state senator’s wife, warned parents to monitor what is being taught in the city’s public schools.

“These kids are being taught that two mommies are okay; that two daddies are okay; that they could choose whatever sex they want to have a relationship with is okay,” she said. “You must be vigilant and you must be aware. Do not trust the Board of Education.”

Well said Mrs. Diaz!  You should NEVER trust the Government, or let them have access to your kids!

Well, the Village Voice deserves some credit here.  They actually covered it.  They also provided pictures, which are very instructional as to why the Legion of Doom didn’t cover this.

Well, well, well, the Legion was asleep for this one, or were they just ignoring it?  And what of the top story?  That the protest “flopped?”  Let’s take a look, shall we??

The biggest names in the anti-gay marriage movement failed to muster a significant crowd - or media attention - at an anti-gay marriage rally in New York.

20,000 is insignificant?  Over 3,000 congregations sent people?  The media ignorance is understandable, but to lie so badly about it?

Despite the firepower of the movement’s most powerful movers and shakers, the rally barely managed to attract a few hundred warm bodies to the steps of the Capitol and fewer news men and women. Most New York media remained silent on the event. Even NOM’s press room was more preoccupied with defending former-Miss California Carrie Prejean’s anti-gay marriage views after being fired than talking about their rally Wednesday.

OK, look at the pictures I posted from the Village Voice, who, let’s just say, isn’t known as being a conservative publication.  What did they do?  Tell everyone from the first picture, “OK everyone, change your race and move across the street for the next picture!”

Utah-based progressive blogger Chino Blanco summed up the rally: “It was HUGE!!! A huge flop.”

Mmkay, if 20,000 is a huge flop, what is the yardstick for success?  OR, is it just about spreading disinfo?

When Dr. Dave mentioned bulldozing cities, a light bulb went off.  Sustainable Development! You know, that plan that herds us all into government managed utopias with vastly reduced standards of living?  Won’t it be great?  I mean the government will tell you where to live, where to work, how much you’ll be paid, if you can drive, (if you’re lucky enough) what you can drive, what you can eat, you’re heating and cooling settings, your medical care, in other words…

THE COMPLETE CONTROL OF ALL HUMAN LIFE!

Now, the libtards would never admit to this, and, as usual, they are implementing their plans incrementally.  A little here, a “shared sacrifice” there, a “hard decision” a few years from now, and low and behold, you’re on the government plantation, and there is NO escape.

Yeah, I know “LOL, yer a kook!”  But look it up.  The information is out there.  Also, I can always reference my favorite Sustainable Stupidity quote…

Now, it’s the incrementalism that we have to look out for.  That’s why Dr. Dave’s comments hit me.  To illustrate, take a look at this.

“Concentrating the dwindling population into a more viable area.”  How exactly do you plan to do that?   How are you going to ‘”coerce” people into moving where you want them to be?  What gives you the right to decide where, or even if, the population should be concentrated?

Most are former industrial cities in the “rust belt” of America’s Mid-West and North East. They include Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Memphis.

In Detroit, shattered by the woes of the US car industry, there are already plans to split it into a collection of small urban centres separated from each other by countryside.

“The real question is not whether these cities shrink - we’re all shrinking - but whether we let it happen in a destructive or sustainable way,” said Mr Kildee. “Decline is a fact of life in Flint. Resisting it is like resisting gravity.” (Emphasis added)

Where to start?  First, the decline is due to liberal policies; from the labor unions that chased the auto industry out, to environmental regulations that harmed the auto industry as a whole.  Finally, tax policy, failing schools, high crime, and the usual Demonrat  thug machine probably did the rest.

Also, they use the term sustainable.  While that, in and of itself, is relatively harmless-it’s one of the new buzz words, after all!  The idea to form small, self contained residential areas is part of the overall Sustainable Stupidity plan.  The idea is to centralize population, government services, and business into a self contained, centrally controlled gulag for the sheeple.  In these areas will be your government schools, government health care, government jobs, and infrastructure.  All of it will be centrally planned,  managed and controlled.  This, clearly, is a step in that direction.

Flint, sixty miles north of Detroit, was the original home of General Motors. The car giant once employed 79,000 local people but that figure has shrunk to around 8,000.

Unemployment is now approaching 20 per cent and the total population has almost halved to 110,000.

The exodus - particularly of young people - coupled with the consequent collapse in property prices, has left street after street in sections of the city almost entirely abandoned.

Again, liberal policies and activities destroyed the area.  Young people leave for places where there are JOBS and OPPORTUNITY.  If you doubt the deserted nature of the area, Google Earth is an eye-opener.

Regarded as a model city in the motor industry’s boom years, Flint may once again be emulated, though for very different reasons.

But Mr Kildee, who has lived there nearly all his life, said he had first to overcome a deeply ingrained American cultural mindset that “big is good” and that cities should sprawl - Flint covers 34 square miles.

He said: “The obsession with growth is sadly a very American thing. Across the US, there’s an assumption that all development is good, that if communities are growing they are successful. If they’re shrinking, they’re failing.”

“If they’re shrinking, they’re failing.”  This is TRUE!  Development and expansion ARE signs of success you twit!  If  these areas were actually successful, why did so many people leave?  Notice the attempt to redefine failure as success.  Liberals destroy an economy and cause most of  the population to leave, and they try to define this as success?   If they spun any faster, they’d break the sound barrier!

UPDATE: I forgot something here.  The liberals create crises, then exploit them for their own gain.  They destroy something, blame capitalism and/or conservatives and use it as a justification to expand their own power-at our expense, of course.

Flint’s recovery efforts have been helped by a new state law passed a few years ago which allowed local governments to buy up empty properties very cheaply.

They could then knock them down or sell them on to owners who will occupy them. The city wants to specialise in health and education services, both areas which cannot easily be relocated abroad.

Much of the Sustainable Stupidity plans are being implemented at the local level.  To enable this, zoning laws have been changed in many parts of the US, and laws that allow local governments to take property more easily are part of that.  To redefine where people live, work, and travel, you need to give governments at all levels the ability to “herd” the people, incrementally, to where you want them to be.  It starts by either restricting building, or making it so expensive or difficult, that almost no one will want to try.  Then, they create “incentives” to abandon personal transportation, like high fuel prices, making cars too expensive, and so on.  To follow up, they create plans like the one described here - destroy neighborhoods in order to ensure that people move where the authorities want.

The specialization in certain services or industries is one of the hallmarks of Sustainable Stupidity.  As with this particular plan, there are to be communities that are self contained and government controlled.  They are to be connected by public transportation.  Eventually, cars and roads will be things of the past-too much freedom of mobility there.  People will be “assigned” by government officials, to jobs, services, and the like.

The city is buying up houses in more affluent areas to offer people in neighbourhoods it wants to demolish. Nobody will be forced to move, said Mr Kildee.

Did you work for years to work towards a nice home?  Did you pick a neighborhood that was safe, and had good schools?  Don’t worry, the government will move the crime to you!  In the socialist future, there will be only two classes;  government minions, and YOU!  Best to break up that whole “success” thing by ruining the few remaining good neighborhoods!

People won’t be forced to move.  That’s true, at least at first.   Initially, the program will proceed by restricting building, and cutting off services to selected areas.  If you want to live in an area that is to be returned to nature, you can.  Just don’t expect roads, schools, utilities, police and fire coverage, and the like.  Most people will “choose” to move into the lovely “sustainable villages”  set up by the government.  Remember the minion that talked about “coercing” people?  Do you see what I mean?

Remember, the liberals don’t always ban things out of hand.  They restrict, reduce, regulate, and coerce.  They do all of these, and do them a little at a time.  They hope is that you don’t realize it until it’s too late.  Of course, they have the Legion of Doom to sell it to the sheeple.

Isn’t the administration of the messiah SPENDULUS MAXIMUS supposed to be “transparent, open, and bi-partisan?”  Are not the “politics of personal destruction” a thing of the past?  The minions of the messiah wouldn’t act like goons to intimidate or threaten people, would they?  These questions and more are to be answered in this post, ladies and gentlemen!

As we are all aware, the messiah is pushing his healthcare plan, with a goal of having it done this summer.  Now, what do we know of it?

Now that we have the preliminaries out of the way, let’s take a look at the latest developments.

The Republicans are having a series of meetings with lobbyists to discuss the messiah’s plan and it’s obvious deceptions and failings.  This is apparently very bad, according to the minions.  Their response and related thuggery are described here.

Top aides to Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) called a last-minute, pre-emptive strike on Wednesday with a group of prominent Democratic lobbyists, warning them to advise their clients not to attend a meeting with Senate Republicans set for Thursday.

Russell Sullivan, the top staffer on Finance, and Jon Selib, Baucus’ chief of staff, met with a bloc of more than 20 contract lobbyists, including several former Baucus aides.

“They said, ‘Republicans are having this meeting and you need to let all of your clients know if they have someone there, that will be viewed as a hostile act,’” said a Democratic lobbyist who attended the meeting.

“Going to the Republican meeting will say, ‘I’m interested in working with Republicans to stop health care reform,’” the lobbyist added.

CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE TRANSLATION: Eh-If ya know what’s good for ya, yous’ll not go to dem meetings.  The Don is gonna run dis health care show, so if yous knows whats good for ya, you’ll stay away from dem Republicans.  Yous wouldn’t want Vinny the Icepick to do something “unfortunate” would ya?  Yea, “unfortunate,” that’s it!

Republican leaders have been meeting with health care stakeholders for months, with those sessions occurring “more frequently than once a month,” according to a senior Senate GOP aide.

But the underlying motivation for the get-together is to encourage health care lobbyists and stakeholders concerned about the Democrats’ health care reform plans to speak out publicly.

“They need to speak up,” one Senate Republican leadership aide said. “They need to help us help them.”

Thune said Democrats are using threats and intimidation to keep unhappy stakeholders silent.

“If you don’t engage on this thing, this train’s leaving the station,” Thune said. “If you want [Republicans] to have more influence, you’ve got to engage.”

So, the Republicans meet with “stakeholders.”  These would likely be medical providers, patient rights groups, insurance companies, drug companies, patients, professional groups, and the like.  So why would the libtards not want these people getting together and talking?  Why would they resort to threats to prevent them from meeting?

THEY WANT TO END ALL RESISTANCE TO THE mESSIAH’S PLAN!!!!

They don’t want patient rights groups telling the sheeple about the messiah’s plan and how it will lead to rationing.  They don’t want doctor groups telling the sheeple about how the plan will lead to less doctors, longer waits, and dying while you wait for care.  They don’t want the others telling the sheeple about how they’ll not have medicines, surguries, treatments and care that their doctors say they need.  They don’t want the sheeple to know that their care will be managed by an unelected bureacrat in a cubicle somewhere!  Oh and BTW, your privacy is out the window too.

One senior Democratic source charged that Thune’s meeting and the supposed motives behind it are in fact a smoke screen for killing health care reform altogether.

“While Democrats and many Republicans are working collaboratively to reform health care, a small group of Republicans appear all too eager to derail this promising, bipartisan effort,” this source said. “It’s politics as usual, it’s disheartening and it’s a shame.”

CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE TRANSLATION: Let’s accuse them of what we’re doing (conspiring to end discussion or progress)!  Let’s say it’s bi-partisan, when what that really means is that it’s us and two or three RINOS!

But with Baucus’ office still warning dissenters that anyone who makes their opposition public could be permanently excluded from future negotiations, the groups representing businesses, health care providers, hospitals and similar stakeholders are still wavering on whether to voice their concerns publicly.

One lobbyist who attended the Wednesday meeting with Baucus’ staff said that the message was more bipartisan. “They said they anticipate having a bipartisan bill and that the process is going well with Republicans,” this lobbyist said. But, the lobbyist added, Baucus’ team did warn, “If your clients attack the process or the product, it’s going to be hard to work with you.”

Man, they threaten people, and when confronted on it, they deny it.   This, yet again, shows the thuggery inherent in the Demonrat Party.  it’s the old, “do as we say or we’ll make bad things happen to you!”

So, messiah voters, you still liking what is going on?  Do you still think it’s “change,” or is it thuggery, intimidation, and extortion?  How many times does it have to happen before you wake up?

Want an interesting contrast between Demonrats and Republicans?  Still thinking there’s no difference between the “Demicans and Republicrats?”  Let’s take a look at the the NY State Senate.  Recently, as described here in Redstate, two Demonrats defected to the Republicans, allegedly over pending gay marriage legislation.  These defections threw the balance of power over to the Republicans.

Now friends, let’s take a moment to review what happened a few  weeks ago in the US Senate.  Arlen Sphincter defected to the Demonrats.  Our response?

“Don’t let the door hit you on the *ss on the way out, you freakin RINO!  Good riddance!”

As a resident of Sphincterland, I was happy with that development.  Even more so when potential Republican opponents, which would NOT be Rinos, seem to be crushing him in the polls!  GO PAT TOOMEY!

Now, how do the Demonrats in NY react?  Here’s what they have done:

• Democrats attempted to stall the vote by asking to adjourn the session.
• After the results of the vote were read aloud, the in-house television station that carries Senate proceedings live in the Capitol went dark. All that appeared on the screen was a still photo of the Senate chamber and the words “Please stand by.”
• That evening Malcolm Smith, the ousted majority leader, whined to the left-media that the Republican-engineered vote was illegal and violated parliamentary procedure. He said the vote was illegal because it had already taken place after the meeting was already brought to an end.
• Smith’s spokesman said This was an illegal and unlawful attempt to gain control of the Senate and reverse the will of the people who voted for a Democratic majority

CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE TRANSLATION: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

But wait, there’s more!

• Today, Democrats got to the Senate chamber first, and locked the doors. Seriously. The minority locked the door. Childish, certainly an egregious violation of parliamentary procedure, and quite possibly illegal. What next, hold their breath?
• They are searching for courtroom solutions.
• New legal pressure is suddenly coming to bear due to legal and ethics problems of both defectors (same link) in an effort to get them thrown out of office, or to blackmail them into coming back across the aisle. Yes, they’re both pretty unsavory characters, but as long as they were lined up with their fellow Democrats, those concerns seem to have been tabled or at least slow-walked.

The ADC also leads the opposition to domestic anti-terrorism measures taken after the 9-11 attacks, such as watch lists, background check delays for visas and an initiative meant to more comprehensively screen visitors from select Mideast countries or specific individuals labeled as possible national security threats.

Last week, Napolitano swore in Damascus-born Kareem Shora, the ADC’s national executive director, to a position on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, an outside-the-department group of national security experts that advises the secretary. Shora is the first Arab rights advocate on the panel.

Hmmm.  Given the infamous “Capitulation in Cairo” last week,  links to anti-Israel organizations isn’t really all that  surprising.

The ADC takes an openly anti-Israel line. Its official material has accused the Jewish state of “apartheid” and “atrocities” against the Palestinians. In 2006, a local ADC group drew up a petition calling on the U.S. to stop providing Israel with weapons.

In 1994, during one of the main peaks of Hamas suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, then-ADC President Hamzi Moghrabi said, “I will not call [Hamas] a terrorist organization. I mean, I know many people in Hamas. They are very respectable. … I don’t believe Hamas, as an organization, is a violent organization.”

No, they just kill people they don’t like.  That’s not BAD, is it?

“I find it shocking,” Maksoud said, “that [one] would include Hezbollah in … [an] inventory of Middle East ‘terrorist’ groups.”

Just a guess on my part, but maybe it’s all the SUICIDE BOMBERS!  Or maybe it’s hiding weapons caches in schools and hospitals.  I know, I’m really going out on a limb there!

In 2000, new ADC President Hussein Ibish characterized Hezbollah as “a disciplined and responsible liberation force.”

When Israel released Hezbollah prisoners in early 2004, Imad Hamad, ADC’s Midwest Regional Director, openly celebrated the freedom of “the heroes.”

CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE TRANSLATION: We celebrate the release of these heroes so they can kill Jews!

OK, these guys resist screenings, fought against the Patriot Act, and acted consistently to get us to lower our defenses.

And then Napalitano offers the guy a job in DHS?!?!?!?

At first, I got upset, but then I remembered something.  Conservatives are the enemy because of our ideas.  Not that we have done anything, we just oppose the messiah.  The people that really want to kill us (and OPENLY state that desire), are to be elevated.  After all, “we have to UNDERSTAND them, and everything we be alright!  Keep on apologizing and appeasing, then you can have a clear conscience when some extremist is hacking your head off!  Nothing like the topsy turvey world of the Liberal Zone to giva ya a headache.

The title is a little mantra that we Conservatives like to throw around because well, it’s true!   While I don’t have to explain this to our conservative readers, I thought an example might be helpful to the passing liberal.  But then again, a liberal will likely drink the kool aid and state some sort of Marxist class warfare mantra rather than have an independent thought and face reality.

Anywho, here’s a story from the land of fruit, nuts, and Pelosi, that illustrates this nicely.

In fact, until last week it looked like Moore was going to have saved enough money to rent a room and get off the street for the first time in six years. But then, in a breathtakingly clueless move, an official for the Department of Public Works told Moore that he has to fork over the money he saved for his first month’s rent to purchase a $491 sidewalk vendor permit.

“I had $573 ready to go,” Moore said, who needs $600 for the rent. “This tore that up. But I’ve been homeless for six years. Another six weeks isn’t going to kill me.”

The bureaucrat told Moore that she found out about his business after reading about his success in this paper.

Alrighty then, this guy cleans himself up, starts a business, becomes successful by hard work and committment, and generates a customer base.  Isn’t this what we would ask of people?  To be self sufficient?  To make something of themselves?  NOT in the Liberal Zone, my friends!  A Bureaurat discovered that there was potential success going on out on the streets and quickly moved to kill it!

Along Market Street, Moore’s supporters are indignant. Nothing happens when mentally ill men wander the street talking to themselves and drunkards pee in the alleys. Yet Moore creates a little business out of thin air, builds up a client base, and the city takes nearly every penny he’s earned.

Christine Falvey, spokeswoman for Public Works, said the department’s contact with Moore was meant to be “educational.”

“We certainly don’t want to hamper anyone’s ability to make a living,” Falvey said. “Our education efforts are actually meant to support that effort by making our streets an enjoyable place for people to visit.”

Vinny the Ice Pick: We wanted to “educate” this guy on the need to have our permission to work on our streets.  “Educate,” yeah, that’s it!

“Nothing like kicking someone when they are down,” ranted attorney Loren Lopin, one of Moore’s clients who donated $100 to help him get housing. “I am pissed.”

Moore is nothing if not dutiful. He attempted to work his way through the byzantine city government channels, although he didn’t get much help.

“I guess my gripe is that when the city came by and told him to get his papers in order but couldn’t tell him how to do it,” said Travis See, who manages the Custom Shop Clothiers on the corner of Market and New Montgomery. “This lady couldn’t even tell him which building to go to so he could stand in line and waste all day.”

When Moore found the permit application, he got a money order and headed down to the appropriate department to pay. But because he didn’t have a valid ID card, they wouldn’t take his money.

What does this tell you?  It tells you that no one knows where to get the freakin’ permit because no one applies for one.  No one applies for one because the stinkin’ fee is so high, no one who would want to be a street vendor could afford it!  This is what liberalism does.   I robs initiative by imposing too many restrcitions, fees, hurdles, and so forth.  I bet if this guy went back to the bottle, there’d be all kind of services for him.  Services, that in many places, encourage the behavior they claim to help.  This is simply the small scale version of what the messiah SPENDULUS MAXIMUS is doing on a national scale.
